How to Travel to Wageningen, The Netherlands

Wageningen is easily accessible by public transport, car, and bike. Below you’ll find the best ways to reach the city and Wageningen Campus.

By Air
The nearest major airports to Wageningen are:

• Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (AMS): Approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes by train to Wageningen.
• Eindhoven Airport (EIN): Approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes by train to Wageningen.

Both airports are well-connected to the Dutch train network, and you can easily travel to Wageningen from there.

By Public Transport
The nearest train stations to Wageningen are Ede-Wageningen and Arnhem Centraal. From these stations, you can take a bus to Wageningen:

• From Ede-Wageningen Station: Bus 303 or 352 (direction Wageningen) – approx. 15 min.
• From Arnhem Centraal: Bus 352 (direction Wageningen) – approx. 30 min.

Wageningen is a bike-friendly city. If you're coming from Ede-Wageningen train station, you can rent an OV-fiets (public transport bike) and cycle to Wageningen in about 15 minutes.

The organizing committee has secured block bookings at two conveniently located hotels near Wageningen Campus where the Food System Microbiomes 2025 will take place. You can reserve your room in the registration system (login required).

NOTICE: The block bokings are only held by the hotels until September 1, 2025, after which they will expire, and after this time bookings will only be based on availability.
